Description

Turn every quiz response into a complete, tagged contact record without manual work. New Typeform entries flow straight into your email marketing list, ready for segmentation and follow up. Ideal for teams running quizzes, webinars, or lead magnets that need fast and clean lead intake.

When a new Typeform submission arrives, the flow cleans the data and prepares it for use. Phone numbers are normalized, birthdays are converted to a safe format, and multiple choice answers are mapped to clear values. The contact is added to a chosen list in KlickTipp with custom fields. The workflow then builds a tag list from answers, pulls all existing tags from KlickTipp, compares them with a SQL style merge, creates any missing tags, and applies the full set of tag IDs to the contact.

Setup is simple. Point the trigger at your Typeform form, map your fields to your KlickTipp list, and confirm tags are created only when needed. Expect faster lead routing, higher data quality, and better segmentation for campaigns. Great for webinar signups, event reminders, interest based segments, and regional targeting.

What this workflow does?

  • Captures new submissions from Typeform on each quiz response
  • Formats phone numbers and birthdays so records are clean and consistent
  • Subscribes contacts to a specific KlickTipp list with custom field mapping
  • Builds a dynamic tag list from form answers like webinar, date, and reminders
  • Fetches all existing KlickTipp tags and compares them to requested tags
  • Uses a SQL style merge to mark which tags already exist
  • Creates missing tags in KlickTipp only when needed
  • Aggregates tag IDs and applies them to the contact in one action

What are the benefits?

  • Reduce manual data entry from 15 minutes to 2 minutes per lead
  • Automate 100 percent of tag assignment based on quiz answers
  • Improve data accuracy by up to 90 percent with phone and date formatting
  • Connect Typeform and KlickTipp without exports or CSV uploads
  • Handle 10 times more submissions without adding staff

How to set this up?

  1. Import the template into n8n: Create a new workflow in n8n, click the three dots menu, select 'Import from File', then choose the downloaded JSON file
  2. You'll need accounts with Typeform and KlickTipp. See the Tools Required section above for links to create accounts with these services.
  3. In the Typeform trigger node, double click the node, then on the Credential to connect with dropdown, click Create new credential, then follow the on screen instructions to integrate that service. Select your target form from the form list or paste the form ID.
  4. In the KlickTipp nodes, double click each node, then on the Credential to connect with dropdown, click Create new credential, then follow the on screen instructions to connect your account.
  5. Open the Subscribe contact node and set the list ID you want to use. Map first name, last name, email, phone, birthday, and any custom fields to match your account.
  6. Review the Set node that prepares data. Keep the phone formatting and date conversion in place so the contact data is valid in KlickTipp.
  7. Check the Define Array of tags node. Adjust the tag values to match your quiz answers such as webinar name, date, or reminder interval.
  8. Ensure the Merge and If nodes remain as configured so existing tags are detected and only missing tags are created.
  9. Click Execute Node on the Typeform trigger and use Listen for events if available. Submit a test entry in your form to pull sample data into the workflow.
  10. Activate the workflow so the Typeform webhook can send live submissions to n8n.
  11. If you see duplicate tags in KlickTipp, remove duplicates in your KlickTipp account and keep the tag names consistent in the tag array node.
  12. If a run fails, open n8n execution logs, check which node failed, and confirm that required fields like email and list ID are present.

Automate Typeform Nextcloud Lead Tracking
Capture every Typeform submission and store it in a single spreadsheet on your cloud drive. Ideal for marketing teams that collect leads or survey answers and want one up to date file in Nextcloud. No more manual copying or missed entries. When a new form entry arrives, the Typeform trigger starts the flow. The workflow downloads the current spreadsheet from Nextcloud, reads the rows, and pairs them with the new answers. A merge step adds the new data to the existing list, then a spreadsheet node writes a fresh file. Finally, the file uploads back to the same Nextcloud path so your team always opens the latest version. You need active accounts for Typeform and Nextcloud and access to a starter spreadsheet with the right columns. Map each Typeform question to a matching column and confirm the file path. Expect faster lead logging, fewer typos, and a clear record for handoff to sales or campaigns like event signups and newsletter opt ins. Many teams cut data entry from 30 minutes a day to under 2 minutes with this setup.

Automate Typeform Feedback Triage to Airtable and Trello
Collect survey responses in one place and send the right items to your team. New Typeform entries are saved to Airtable, and only the ones that meet a score rule become Trello cards for quick follow up. It helps marketing and product teams capture feedback and act on it fast. Here is how it works. A Typeform trigger fires on each submission. A Set node maps four fields Name, Email, Score, and Description and keeps only those fields for clean data. An Airtable node appends a new row in the Feedback table. An IF check compares the Score to a threshold of 7. If the score passes, a Trello card is created with the title showing the score and name, and the description includes the full details. If it does not pass, the flow ends with a NoOp step. You need a Typeform form with the same question labels, an Airtable base with a Feedback table, and a Trello list ready for new cards. Expect less manual copy and paste and faster follow up on high value feedback. This is great for NPS follow up, gathering testimonials, and routing product ideas to a backlog. Adjust the score rule to match your own policy and volume.

Automate Typeform Attendee Onboarding
Turn every new registration into a complete attendee onboarding flow. Great for event teams that need to welcome people fast, keep data clean, and get guests into the right sessions and channels without manual steps. When a Typeform submission arrives, the data is saved to Google Sheets. A Mattermost user account is created with the attendee name and email, then the user is invited to the team. Session choices are split into separate rows so each selection can be handled on its own. The flow pulls session details from a Sessions sheet, merges them by the Session name, and picks up the right Mattermost channel IDs and Google Calendar event IDs. The user is added to the matching Mattermost channels, the related Google Calendar events are updated with the attendee, and a Gmail welcome message is sent. You will need a Typeform form, a Google Sheet with Attendees and Sessions tabs, a Mattermost team with channels listed in the Sessions sheet, a Google Calendar with session events, and a Gmail account. Expect faster onboarding, fewer errors, and better show rates. Good fits include webinars, workshops, training sessions, and hackathons.
